Ahhhh, it feels good to be home...sort of. Not that it sort of feels good. More that I'm sort of home. I'm as "home" as I can be staying in other people's apartments. It definitely feels good to be somewhere where people don't have accents. No, I haven't been to East Austin lately :p

Quick recap of what's happened in the last MONTH (?! can that be right?). New Zealand was not cold and rainy. Christchurch was cold and rainy. After a few hours on the road the weather turned absolutely gorgeous! It was like that for four of the 7 days. We were really lucky. Pretty much everyone on our Contiki group was really cool which made it that much more fun. I did find that All Blacks jersey I was looking for. I bought it in New Zealand thinking it would be cheapest. Turned out they were selling them in Sydney for *gulp* HALF of what I paid! Let us never speak of this again...

I've been back a week and have gotten a cell phone, found an apartment, and found out it will be more of a pain in the ass finding a judicial clerkship and/or a job than I thought. FUN!

I can't get that Outkast song "Hey Ya" out of my head. To help, all the radio stations are playing it as often as possible. I heard it 4 times yesterday during the three hours I was driving around.

I haven't decided if I'm going to keep this up now that I'm home. If you want me to, email me. I expect an overwhelming response...riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight.
